Folded canvas

In this series, I focus on how visual information is shaped, “condensed” into structure, and on the hybrid state in which the painting loses its original character while still retaining traces of it. Through the process of manipulation (folding), it becomes material, enriched with tactile qualities; through its structure, it transforms into a spatial form that suggests movement.
